Old Mill Museum | Dundee, Michigan
Sara and Travis’s wedding was at the Old Mill Museum in Dundee, MI.
The day started out with Sara getting ready at with her three bridesmaids and step daughter. It was a beautiful day just a few clouds and lots of blue sky. When we left the hotel the dark clouds came in and it raided so hard the water at the mill raised so high that it fulled all the side walks, so we weren’t able to do Sarah & Travis’s first look out side like we planned, so we ended up doing it inside where the ceremony was taking place and I think it turned out beautifully. I love first looks because they really let you feel that emotion and the realization that you’re getting married sinks in.
Thankfully after the ceremony the rain stopped so we went down town Dundee and took the wedding party pictures and pictures of Sarah and Travis. Shooting down town was a blast! The old buildings made for beautiful backgrounds. We had plenty of time in between the ceremony and the reception to get the pictures we needed. Sarah and Travis love to spend time outside fishing and hunting, so they brought some fishing poles to be used for pictures. I love it when my couples show their personality’s in the session.
The wedding colors were a light pink. And the flowers were beautiful! The cake was made by Travis’s mother and Sarah’s mother did an amazing job with all the decorations. My favorite part of the wedding was seeing Travis dance with is daughter and Sarah dancing with her step son. I love seeing families come together to make a new family. I wish this family all the happiness in the world and happy hunting.
